COFFREE is committed to making drinkcoffree.com usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the guidelines referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and used by most courts and regulators as the benchmark for accessible websites.

What we do

  • Text and background colors meet WCAG minimum contrast ratios.
  • Every image that carries meaning has a text alternative.
  • The whole site, including the cart and checkout, can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen-reader users can move around quickly.
  • Auto-moving content pauses on hover and respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
  • We test with automated tools (axe-core) and fix issues as they are found.
